How do you store Zepbound (tirzepatide)?

It is generally recommended to store your Zepbound® prescription for autoinjector pens or vials in the refrigerator (36⁰F-46⁰F) and keep it in the original box to protect it from the light. Some patients find the injection to be more comfortable if they first let the medication warm to room temperature before administration. If you do not have access to a refrigerator, it can be stored at room temperature (up to 86⁰F) for no more than 21 days, and it is not recommended to put it back in the refrigerator after storing at room temperature. Do not freeze Zepbound. If your Zepbound pen or Zepbound vial becomes frozen you should dispose of it and do not use it. Make sure to also refill your Zepbound prescription as scheduled.
