How many doses are in a Wegovy (semaglutide) pen?
Each Wegovy® pen contains a single dose of the medication, so for a one month supply you will receive four pens (one for each week). The pens are designed to deliver the entire dose at once and for the 1 month supply the doses will all be the same. Wegovy comes in five different strengths (0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 1.7 mg and 2.4 mg). Every four weeks, so long as the medication is tolerated, the dose is increased.
