How long can Ozempic (semaglutide) stay out of the refrigerator?

Ozempic® can stay out of the refrigerator after it is first opened so long as the room temperature is between 59ºF to 86ºF. If you choose, you can still continue to keep it refrigerated (between 36°F to 46°F) after first use as well. Once it is opened, the medication is good for up to 56 days. Prior to first use, it is recommended to keep Ozempic pens refrigerated (between 36°F to 46°F). It is important to properly store your medication to ensure it will remain effective and safe. If you are traveling and need to bring your Ozempic with you, plan to keep your pens with you instead of in your luggage until you get to your final destination. If you plan to travel by plane, you can find a small case with ice packs for the pens.
